The anti-library
Everything I haven’t
gotten to yet.

I like knowing there’s more out there than I’ll ever get to.
Umberto Eco’s unread books gave Nassim Nicholas Taleb a name for that feeling: an anti-library. A growing reminder of how much there is still to learn.
Seneca offers a useful counterweight: spend time with a few good writers. Read deeply. Carry something away.
I’m making room for both.
These are the books, films, shows and records at the edge of what I know. Some have been waiting years. Some arrived this morning.
The horizon keeps growing. The core shelf stays small: books to live with and return to. The digests hold what I’m trying to carry away.
Wander a shelf. Follow a thread. See what catches.
